Occupational Therapy

Our Occupational Therapist advises on appropriate equipment to enable the pupil to maximise their ability to manage physical needs and access the curriculum.  We are fully committed to the principle that being comfortable is key to a student's ability to learn.

Assessments of each pupil are made as required, and a full range of seating, standing and walking equipment, as well as specific aids for the home, can be provided.

Within school, occupational therapists will advise on the provision for each student's sensory needs (see Sensory Integration).
