HERITAGE HOUSE SCHOOL

SCHOOL CLOSES ON FRIDAY, 1ST JUNE AT THE USUAL TIME FOR THE HALF-TERM HOLIDAY

Outdoor Play Areas

The school has a number of large outside areas for the students to play and/or work in.

For younger students in particular, playing together brings many benefits.  For all students playing outside can help them to stay healthy.  Where students need help learning how to play, this help is readily provided.

We have two main playgrounds, one with a basketball court, and one with a range of specialised play equipment.  Whenever the weather permits, students use these for three quarters of an hour at lunchtime.  In addition, we have a sensory garden and an outdoor learning zone with musical instruments and a wheelchair swing.  A sensory Japanese garden is also being developed.
